India, Aug. 23 -- A tense exchange unfolded before lunch on Day 1 of the second and final Test between India and Sri Lanka at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo, when Yashasvi Jaiswal and Asitha Fernando butt heads after the Indian batter's dismissal.

It happened on the final ball of the 17th over after India opted to bat first on Sunday. Fernando jagged one back off a length and Jaiswal's middle stump was pegged back via an inside edge. However, the beautiful delivery was followed by an ugly scene.
