India, Dec. 17 -- Xiaomi is offering its most recent HyperOS 3 upgrade to a larger variety of smartphones and tablets throughout its portfolio. With the update, more Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices in India now run Android 16.

The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were the first phones to run HyperOS 3 straight out of the box at the company's September 2025 launch event, according to NDTV Gadgets 360. In addition to the Android 16 update, HyperOS 3 has new widgets, updated system animations, and a collection of AI-powered writing and editing tools designed to boost daily productivity.
