New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- Police on Sunday said they rescued a woman who jumped into the river from Yamuna Bridge. "A team deployed near the Kalindi Kunj picket rushed to the spot and, with the assistance of local divers, jumped into the river and rescued the woman from the river in an unconscious condition," said DCP (southeast) Hemant Tiwari. She is in the hospital for treatment.
Separately, in two other instance, a 16-year-old girl and a boy were prevented from dying by suicide in southeast Delhi. HTC
