India, April 4 -- A 36-year-old woman alleged she was confided inside a warehouse and brutally assaulted by three women over suspicion of stealing a packet of cashews from a departmental store in north Delhi's Burari. Police said the incident took place on March 28 and they have lodged a case against the three staffers in the matter.
The woman is a resident of Burariand works at a mall. On the day of the incident, she was returning from work at around 9.30pm and stopped at a store to buy groceries.
As per the complaint, also seen by HT, the woman said she bought all the items and was putting them in her bag when three staffers at the shop accused her of stealing cashew packet.
Before she could show them her bag, they pushed her, hurled...
