India, Aug. 23 -- A 41-year-old woman and her 17-year-old son were found dead at their home in Dada Patil Nagar, Tandulwadi, in Baramati taluka on Friday. Police suspect death by suicide; further probe is on.

According to the police, the woman's husband left home around 7 pm on Thursday for his night shift at a company. He returned around 8 am on Friday and found the house locked from inside. When his wife and son did not respond to his calls, he sought help from a neighbour.

They opened a window and saw the boy hanging inside the house.

Narayan Pawar, inspector, Baramati Taluka Police Station, said the boy was found hanging from a metal structure with a rope, while his mother was lying on her back near a window in the same room. A dar...
