India, Sept. 20 -- The Alabama Crimson Tide's clash against ACC side Florida State already endured an almost two-hour delay after weather conditions around Tuscaloosa and Bryant-Denny Stadium triggered the lightning protocol.

While the game finally got underway at 5:15 pm ET, the Saturday night matchup was paused again with just minutes remaining in the second quarter.

However, the game is scheduled to resume at 7:02 pm ET, according to Alabama insider Nick Kelly.

"Alabama-Florida State game set to re-start at 6:02 p.m. CT, UA announced," Kelly tweeted.

He also confirmed that there will be no halftime break, following an announcement from the University of Alabama. "There will not be halftime, UA announced," his another tweet read.
