India, Aug. 23 -- The mother of the software engineer Vinay Gupta, who died after being allegedly assaulted by his wife's family members in Delhi's Nihal Vihar, has shared shocking details of the attack on her son.

31-year-old Vinay died on Friday after being beaten up by his wife Rekha's brothers. Four people, including the wife, have been arrested by the police. Investigators said Rekha had switched off the CCTV camera installed inside the house before the incident.

The deceased, Vinay Gupta, a resident of Laxmi Park, worked as a software engineer at an MNC in Noida, police said. He married Rekha, 31, around three-and-a-half years ago, and they have four-month-old twins.
