India, April 4 -- Brandon Clarke, forward of the Memphis Grizzlies, was arrested and booked in Arkansas on Wednesday. According to the Memphis Commercial Appeal's report Clarke was taken into custody on the afternoon of April 1.

As per the reporters Lucas Finton and Damichael Cole, Clarke faces multiple charges, including trafficking and possession of a controlled substance, fleeing in a vehicle while exceeding the speed limit, and improper passing.

County records initially did not clearly specify the charges and listed Clarke under a "CID hold," a term that can vary across law enforcement agencies. The designation typically indicates involvement of the Criminal Investigation Division.
