Why did Lindsay Clancy have 82.1-degree body temperature after suicide attempt? Doctor explains
India, Aug. 19 -- Lindsay Clancy's trial has been revealing more information about her physical condition following her suicide attempt. Dr. Kelly McDonough, an emergency room physician at South Shore Hospital who treated Lindsay, said at the trial that she was hypothermic with a core body temperature of 82.1 degrees Fahrenheit when she arrived.
Experts believe that it is unlikely that Lindsay's temperature was taken immediately upon arrival as she was in critical condition and required emergency care, People reported. The hospital was located some 20 miles from her home, adding to the time for any cooling.
