India, April 6 -- President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to endorse former Fox News host Steve Hilton for California governor on Sunday night, April 5. Hilton is one of two major Republican candidates running in this year's race to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom. Newsom cannot run for another term.

"I have known and respected Steve Hilton, who is running for Governor of California, for many years," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "He is a truly fine man, one who has watched as this once great State has gone to Hell. Gavin Newscum and the Democrats have done an absolutely horrendous job."
