India, Sept. 19 -- Sharifa Nicole Henderson has been indicted on federal charges on Friday after prosecutors alleged she threatened to kill Jeff Metcalf, the father of slain Texas teenager Austin Metcalf, after the trial ended.

Sharifa, 34, was charged by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Texas with three counts of interstate threatening communications under 18 U.S.C. * 875(c), according to the court documents obtained by CBS News.

The indictment alleged that she sent Facebook messages and made a telephone call containing violent threats between June 9 and June 11, shortly after Anthony was convicted of murdering Austin Metcalf.
