India, Feb. 25 -- A Milford teen who was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents while on his way to volleyball practice in May 2025 is set to attend President Donald Trump's State of the Union address to Congress on Tuesday, February 24. Marcelo Gomes da Silva was detained on May 31 and held at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Burlington for five days.
Gomes da Silva will be attending the event as the guest of Rep. Seth Moulton, who is running for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in the upcoming election.
