India, Sept. 7 -- Cody Rhodes is one of the biggest names in professional wrestling, but he is not the only member of his family with a connection to the industry.

His wife, Brandi Rhodes, has also built a career as a professional wrestler and wrestling personality. The couple has now been married for more than a decade.

Born Brandi Alexis Reed on June 23, 1983, in Canton, Michigan, a Detroit suburb, Brandi developed an interest in figure skating at a young age. According to PEOPLE, she began skating when she was just four years old.

She later received a full scholarship to attend the University of Michigan. Brandi eventually stepped away from figure skating during her sophomore year to concentrate on her studies.
