India, July 24 -- Netflix's new true-crime documentary Toxic Love Story has renewed interest in the case of Ian Diaz and Angela Connell Diaz, whose relationship became one of California's most disturbing cyberstalking and fraud investigations.

At first glance, Ian and Angela appeared to have a nearly perfect life. Living in Anaheim, California, the couple seemed to be building a future together.
