India, July 6 -- Folarin Balogun has become one of the breakout stars of the FIFA World Cup 2026, helping the United States make a strong impression on home soil. The 24-year-old striker was born in New York to Nigerian parents and raised in England.

Balogun was initially suspended after receiving a red card during the United States' win over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday.
