India, Aug. 15 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday unveiled a seven-point reform framework, or 'Sapta Dhara', aimed at accelerating India's journey towards becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047, saying work that could not be completed in the past five to seven decades must be achieved within the next five to seven years.
Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Independence Day, Modi said India needed a new set of strengths to drive its development journey, drawing a parallel with the ancient reference to the 'Sapta Sindhu', or seven rivers.
