India, April 1 -- Former NBA player Lamar Odom has opened up about his ongoing struggle with addiction and recovery in his new Netflix documentary, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.

According to People, Odom's issues with substance abuse date back over a decade, spanning his NBA career and personal life, including his marriage to Khloe Kardashian.

His most serious health scare came in 2015, when he suffered a near-fatal overdose involving drugs and alcohol. Recalling the incident later, Odom said, "My lungs collapsed and my kidneys ruptured. I was on life support. Everyone I'd ever loved was looking at me through bleary eyes."

Odom's recovery has not been linear. He was arrested for DUI in January 2026, his second such arrest aft...
