Kolkata, April 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah have expectedly launched blistering attacks against the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal on multiple fronts including infiltration, corruption and women's safety in the runup to the upcoming polls.

Political experts tracking the election campaign of senior BJP and TMC leaders, however, have noted a sharp departure in the BJP's campaign strategy this year compared to the party's electioneering for the 2021 assembly election.
