Kolkata, Sept. 5 -- West Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari on Friday unveiled a new logo and brand identity for the state tourism department while adding that the government, in its first budget earlier this year, had allocated around Rs.500 crore to boost the tourism sector. "We have destroyed the tourism infrastructure in our state even as other states have moved forward. Tourists pass through West Bengal to reach Sikkim. More than Darjeeling and Kalimpong they prefer Gangtok. We have to come out of this," Adhikari said. He was addressing an event after unveiling a new logo "See in a new light.
