India, June 27 -- Welcome To The Jungle worldwide box office collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar's comedy-action drama, directed by Ahmed Khan, was released in theatres on 26 June, with paid previews held on 25 June. The film received good reviews and has taken a decent start at the box office, emerging as the third-biggest Hindi opening of the year by surpassing Bhooth Bangla.

According to Sacnilk, Welcome To The Jungle collected Rs.15.25 crore net in India on its first Friday. Including Rs.3.75 crore from paid previews, its total India net collection now stands at Rs.19 crore, while its India gross collection is Rs.22.80 crore. Overseas, the film grossed Rs.6.50 crore, taking its worldwide gross collection to Rs.29.30 crore.
