India, Aug. 27 -- Days before Gen. Randy George was removed as the Army's top officer, he was reportedly urged by a fellow general to halt an investigation into an unauthorized helicopter flyby over musician Kid Rock's Tennessee property.

According to a report published by The Washington Post on Wednesday, George wanted the Army to continue examining whether safety regulations were breached when two AH-64 Apache helicopters flew at low altitude over Kid Rock's estate near Nashville on March 28.

At the time, Gen. Chris LaNeve, who served as the Army's second-highest-ranking officer and is now being considered as a possible successor to George, reportedly told George that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth did not want the investigation to pr...
