India, Sept. 28 -- At DDA's district park in Janakpuri's B-Block - spread over an area of 24.25 acres, while numerous joggers can usually be seen using the walking track after 7pm, lack of adequate lighting remains a concern here. "There are pockets in the park which are completely pitch dark. Even on the walking path, there can be sections that are without any lighting," said 24-year old Vashu Chandra. HT saw both men and women using phone flashlights to navigate the walking track. The park has six entry and exits and while it had ample movement - predominantly from local residents from nearby blocks in Janakpuri, HT saw no security guards anywhere.
