Tiruppur, April 15 -- TVK chief Vijay on Tuesday outlined his party's key poll promises ahead of the April 23 assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, focusing on welfare measures for weavers, farmers and government employees, just before the chaos that triggered an abrupt cancellation of a six-kilometre roadshow, scheduled later in the same district. Addressing a gathering in Tiruppur, Vijay said that his party would extend direct financial assistance and social security benefits to weavers. "I would like to speak on our agenda.
