Vajra Corps trains first batch of drone operators
Jalandhar, Oct. 10 -- With unmanned aerial systems emerging as an increasingly important component of modern warfare, the first batch of drone operators of Vajra Corps, one of Western Command's key corps based in Jalandhar, has completed specialised training in drone operations under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)-approved Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO) programme.
The development marks a significant step towards strengthening the Corps' technology-enabled warfighting capabilities, particularly along the western front with Pakistan.
