India, Sept. 8 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday attended the Gyan Ganga Samman Samaroh and scholarship distribution programme organised by the Kusum Kanta Foundation and Manthan Welfare Association. He honoured teachers and presented scholarships to meritorious students.

Dhami said the event was not merely a programme for honours and scholarship distribution, but an effort to recognise talent, encourage education and give children's dreams a new direction. Supporting a child's education, he said, means becoming a partner in fulfilling aspirations.
