Uttarakhand clears rRs.r190 crore for power, roads and police infrastructure
India, Aug. 14 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial sanctions totalling about Rs.190 crore for development projects, including a 12 MW hydropower project in Pithoragarh, tourism infrastructure, roads and police vehicles.
The government has approved Rs.159.60 crore for construction of the Tankul hydropower project in Pithoragarh through the Public Investment Board. Another Rs.4.75 crore has been approved for upgrading and expanding the tourist guest house at Chaukori.
Under the state plan, Rs.3.25 crore has been sanctioned for reconstruction and strengthening of the Saudi Lagga Kyari motor road in Jaunpur block of Dhanaulti. Rs.4.23 crore has been approved for interlocking tile construction and repairs...
