Bengaluru, April 22 -- An American national was allegedly raped by an employee at a homestay in Karnataka's Kodagu, triggering a multi-agency investigation, police said on Tuesday, adding that they have arrested the accused and the homestay owner. Police have identified the accused as Vrajesh Kumar, a resident of Jharkhand. "The victim has alleged that she was given a drink mixed with intoxicants, following which she was assaulted.
