New Delhi, May 31 -- The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a Rs.7 lakh penalty on civil services coaching institute Vajiram and Ravi IAS Study Centre LLP for publishing "misleading" advertisements that suggested successful candidates of the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023 were products of its full-length coaching programmes, officials aware of the matter said on Saturday.
