PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 12 -- The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has received approximately 125,000 objections following the results of the 2026 Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET), the first administration of the exam in five years, officials said.

The commission released the UPTET results on August 26. Since then, thousands of unsuccessful candidates have submitted representations via email, registered post, or in person at the commission's office.
