VARANASI, Aug. 13 -- Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Swatantra Dev Singh on Thursday said today's youth are not just job seekers, but they also possess the potential to become job creators.

He was addressing a gathering at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth before leading Tiranga Yatra from there to Dr Sampurnanand Sanskrit University.

Schoolchildren, youth and people from various walks of life took part in the yatra in large numbers carrying the National Tricolour. A PAC and police band led the ;procession even as participants moved forward while filling the air with patriotic slogans such as "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram."
