u.p. minister joins protest against trader's killing
Lucknow, Sept. 12 -- Uttar Pradesh minister and Nishad Party president Sanjay Nishad on Friday joined the protests against the murder of utensils trader, who was killed allegedly after he posted "objectionable and divisive" post, in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh.
Vinod Kumar Sahni, who belonged to the marginalised Nishad community, was attacked by eight to 10 men on Wednesday. He died on Thursday.
The death has sparked protests, with Sanjay Nishad demanding NSA charges, compensation and a government job for one family member of the deceased.
