India, June 24 -- The standoff between a group of Nihang Sikhs and the gurdwara administration in Nagrasu of Rudraprayag district ended on Monday after the remaining members of the group came down from the gurdwara terrace, officials said. The development came after a delegation of Nihang Sikhs from Punjab arrived and persuaded them to come down. Seven Nihang Sikhs had locked themselves on the terrace on Sunday following an altercation with sevadars associated with the gurdwara. "The administration and police remained in constant dialogue with them to ensure that the situation was resolved peacefully," district magistrate Vishal Mishra said.htc
