Dehradun, Aug. 27 -- A booth-level agent with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttarakhand's Udham Singh Nagar district has filed more than 6,000 Form-7 objections seeking deletion of voters from the electoral rolls of Kichha assembly constituency under the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the state. Speaking to HT on Tuesday, Rajesh Tiwari, who serves as BJP's BLA-1 in the district, claimed that the forms were submitted after an "internal analysis" found thousands of voters registered in neighbouring districts that fell in Uttar Pradesh.
