New Delhi, Oct. 23 -- The Delhi Police on Thursday said they have arrested two people in connection with a fatal accident at a fair in west Delhi's Vikaspuri, in which a woman died after falling of a "Mixer Ride" amusement ride on Tuesday. The arrested were identified as Mandeep (single name), a resident of Haryana's Bahadurgarh, who is the owner and operator of the amusement ride, and Ramesh Rathi, the supervisor of amusement rides at the fair, a senior police officer said. "The two have been booked for death by negligence, act endangering life or personal safety of others and negligent conduct with respect to machinery, a case regarding which was registered under BNS sections 106, 125 and 289," the officer said.
