Chandigarh, June 4 -- Two young men have been arrested by the UT Police in a house-breaking and theft case reported from Dhanas. The team recovered stolen gold and silver ornaments, achieving 100 per cent recovery of the stolen property.

The case was registered at Sarangpur police station on June 2 following a complaint by a Dhanas resident, who discovered her house lock broken and jewellery missing after returning from her native village in Bihar. The stolen items included a 14-tola silver anklet, gold earrings and a gold nose pin.
