Two held for killing friend on suspicion of hacking mobile phone in Gurugram
India, Aug. 23 -- Two suspects were arrested from Nawada in Bihar on Friday for allegedly murdering their friend in Sector 13 by slitting his throat over suspicion that he had hacked a mobile phone, police said on Saturday.
The duo, both tenants in Rajiv Nagar (east), Sector 13, were taken on three-day police remand after being produced before a court on Saturday, officers added. The victim, Sujeet Kumar Kharwar, 26, of Hariharpur in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh, also lived in Rajiv Nagar (east) and worked as a security guard, police said.
Sandeep Turan, public relations officer of Gurugram police, said one suspect's phone had been hacked and he could not access his email. "They suspected it was Kharwar who had done it," he said.
