Bhubaneswar, Sept. 23 -- Two people travelling to a popular shiva shrine in Odisha's Dhenkanal district were allegedly stopped and assaulted by a group of men, with a video of the incident surfacing days after a similar attack in Bihar, police said on Tuesday, adding that two people have been detained. According to police, the incident took place on September 18 on the Kapilash-Tangi road in Dhenkanal district but it came to light only on Monday after footage of the alleged assault circulated widely on social media. The video shows the 26-year-old man, a resident of Cuttack district, being verbally abused and allegedly assaulted by a group of men.
