India, Aug. 27 -- At least two children were killed and 17 others injured after a gunman opened fire at a school in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning. The gunman also died from self-inflicted injuries, police said.
The attack took place at Annunciation Church, which also houses a grammar school. Among the 17 injured were 14 children, 7 of whom are in critical condition, according to a hospital official.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara said the gunman, who was in his early 20s, was carrying a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol. He added that the suspect did not have a significant criminal history.
