India, April 3 -- In a bid to decongest the Jharsa Chowk and Gurudwara Road and ease traffic movement in the area, road-owning agencies have been directed to remove illegal encroachments on the roadside by unauthorised vendors and shops, traffic police officials said on Thursday.

At a meeting between traffic police officials and the Gurugram Industrial Association on Thursday, deputy commissioner of police (traffic) Dr Rajesh Mohan said that time-bound solutions to traffic jams lasting 15-20 minutes during peak hours in the industrial areas will be implemented in the coming months.
