CHENNAI, Sept. 28 -- The Central Crime Branch of the Tamil Nadu police on Sunday searched four premises in Kallakurichi district of a key accused in connection with an alleged financial fraud scheme linked to former Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. Three people -B T Arasakumar, Suresh and Raja - have been arrested, and police have conducted searches at the residences and offices of the relatives of one of the key accused, Muthukumar, who is currently absconding. Police are currently tracing his whereabouts, the Central Crime Branch said in an official release late on Sunday.
