TMC protests irregularities, bulk submission of form 6 by BJP
Kolkata, April 2 -- Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers and supporters on Wednesday launched an indefinite protest near the Chief Electoral Officer's (CEO) office in Kolkata, alleging large-scale irregularities and bulk submission of Form 6 applications by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to enrol outsiders as voters in West Bengal.
The protest, which entered its second day, comes amid heightened political tensions following violent clashes between TMC and BJP workers in the area.
