Tiranga Yatra helps keep freedom movement's memories alive: UP deputy CM Maurya
PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 13 -- As part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a Tiranga Yatra was organised on Thursday from All Saints Cathedral to Shaheed Wall in Prayagraj.
Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya led the yatra. Participants carried portraits of freedom fighters and marched while holding the National Tricolour as patriotic songs added to the fervour.
Addressing the gathering, Maurya said the occasion serves as a reminder of India's glorious past and helps keep the memories of the freedom movement alive among young generations.
