Lucknow, April 28 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday attacked the Trinamool Congress for the prevailing conditions in West Bengal and said the state, once recognised for its art, literature, and industrial prosperity, has now been pushed toward backwardness, for which he also blamed the Congress and the Left.

He also said Mamata Didi gets scared when slogans of "Jai Shri Ram" or "Har Har Mahadev" are raised and she feels her power slipping, according to a press release.

He said West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee used to mislead people and that it was time to free West Bengal from the TMC.
