India, April 2 -- Tiger Woods, one of golf's most iconic figures is taking a step back to focus on his health after a DUI arrest in Florida. While the arrest could have serious legal implications, experts say Woods is unlikely to face jail time as he seeks treatment and works on recovery.
Legal expert Gregory Doll told Page Six that while jail time is technically on the table, it is far from likely.
"My understanding is that he was impaired from medication, not from other recreational drugs or alcohol," Doll said.
"While that is not a good thing, I don't see any judge wanting to send him to jail, particularly because no one else was hurt in the accident and he's already seeking treatment," he added.
