Karnal, Aug. 12 -- The Hisar police registered an FIR against a serving tehsildar Vijay Singh, his two sons Azad Singh and Ajit Singh, and Ajit's wife, Jyoti, in a property fraud case worth Rs.5.35 crore.

The complaint filed by Himanshu Mittal, a chartered accountant and resident of Hisar's Sector-15, alleged that the accused sold him two houses already committed to other buyers under a prior agreement.

According to the complaint and subsequent investigation, the sequence of events began in May 2025.
