India, Aug. 11 -- The education sector presents an excellent opportunity for the armed forces to contribute skilled manpower to the Viksit Bharat initiative, which seeks to make India a repository of human capital by 2047. Apart from the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) initiative to hire professors of practice from among distinguished veterans of the armed forces with academic pedigree, there is little else that leverages the vast potential of thousands of retiring servicemen and women in the education sector.
