New Delhi, April 22 -- An Iranian oil tanker 'Silly City' entered the country's territorial waters despite a US naval blockade. In a statement on Tuesday, the Iranian military said, "Despite numerous warnings from the US Navy Fleet Group, the Iranian oil tanker Silly City, with the operational support of the Iranian Navy and in full safety, entered Iran's territorial waters last night after crossing the Arabian Sea." It arrived at a southern Iranian port after passing via Arabian Sea. According to an analysis by shipping industry intelligence site Lloyd's List, at least 26 Iranian so-called "shadow vessels", had transited past the blockade. htc
