India, Nov. 7 -- Stephen Miller, Donald Trump's incoming White House Chief of Staff, has strongly defended the president's leadership, describing him as the man who saved both the United States and the Republican Party, despite the GOP's disappointing performance in the midterm elections.

Speaking at Mar-a-Lago on Friday night, Miller praised Trump just days after the president announced that he would replace Susie Wiles as White House Chief of Staff, with the transition scheduled to take effect on Monday.
