India, Aug. 9 -- A video allegedly showing a woman being assaulted at an apartment in St. Johns, Michigan, has gone viral on social media, prompting a police investigation into an incident that reportedly occurred in November 2025.

The St. Johns Police Department said it is investigating the footage and that all individuals involved have been identified. Police said the case, along with available video evidence, will be submitted to the Clinton County Prosecutor's Office once the investigation is complete.

The video appears to show a woman lying on a bed while several people surround her. She appears to be severely impaired or largely unresponsive as those around her make threatening remarks, laugh and record the incident.
