India, Oct. 12 -- The next stage of the RRR programme is expected to involve further technical validation, including repeated ignition testing, engine performance assessment, combustion stability studies and evaluation of restart reliability.

The company is also considering the engineering challenges involved in adapting restart-capable hybrid propulsion systems to larger vehicles.

While the October 10 demonstration established an important experimental milestone, additional testing will be necessary to evaluate operational reliability, performance consistency and commercial feasibility.
